Duck Boat Tour

Here's a short video clip (there are more...!) from our Duck Boat Tour. Cooper is at the helm for part of the trip, when we were on the Charles River.

Boston

We made a spontaneous trip to Boston for an overnight. We went to a Red Sox game with other Shelburne friends, went on a Boston Duck Boat tour, visited the aquarium, and more. Here are a few photos... some video coming soon.

I ran into my old friend, Peter Reynolds, at a conference last week. He's an author/illustrator of children's books, owns a book store, and started a company called Fable Vision. He created an animation software for kids and big kids (adults) to use. I've been experimenting with a trial version, and Cooper has too.

I like this better than the software he used for the recent animation. Much better. The possibilities are endless. Check out Cooper's latest:

Cooper's Concert

In between Sam's baseball games that we have on most nights, we also had the pleasure this week of attending the 3rd grade concert. This was a singing concert featuring songs they've learned in music class. It was short (!) and sweet. Cooper was placed front and center, so photos were easier.

Cooper Animates

Sam has been using a new application at school called Pivot. Cooper saw it and just started playing. He created an animated gif. I think there's more to come, but here's one of his first attempts. Click on the image to see it move.

Opening Day

Yesterday was Opening Day for Shelburne Little League. We were at the fields all day (8-4!). Between the parade, ceremony, home run derby, bake sale, silent auction, and yes, even the games, there was a lot of fun to be had. Sam is a Red Sox again this year. We captured a few photos, but were too focused on the game to get any action shots.
